Your Pet's Surgery
The doctors and staff are constantly training in order to bring you the highest standard of surgical care. Before surgery, all patients undergo a thorough physical exam and must complete appropriate laboratory analysis so that we can design an anesthesia protocol specifically for YOUR pet. During every surgical procedure, your pet has a dedicated anesthetic technician closely and continuously monitoring all of your pet's vital signs with advanced anesthetic monitoring equipment. Each pet receives an intravenous catheter to provide IV fluid therapy before, during and after the procedure. We believe strongly in individualized pain management for your pet. Each and every surgical procedure includes individualized pain management protocols for the pre- and post-operative as well as intraoperative period. Your pet’s safety and comfort during surgery are our primary concerns and we strive to make each surgical procedure as stress-free and safe as possible.
We understand that surgery can be a stressful situation for both you and your pet. Pine Creek Veterinary Hospital maintains a dedicated quiet room so that our clients feel a little more at ease when leaving their beloved pet.
Our surgeons are highly skilled at performing a variety of orthopedic surgeries. Dr. Josh Fisher and Dr. Cristy Fisher are well versed in cranial cruciate ligament repairs using the Securos System, Femoral Head Ostectomy procedure, life-saving limb amputations and other surgeries. In special orthopedic cases, we refer to Colorado Canine Orthopedics in a continued effort to provide the best possible care for our patients.
