Dr. Josh Fisher is a general practitioner and co-owner of Pine Creek Veterinary Hospital in Colorado Springs.

An Arizona native, he attended the University of Arizona and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, with a minor in Chemistry, in 1996. He pursued his veterinary education at the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. His professional interests include pet dentistry and soft-tissue surgery. Dr. Fisher cared for pets as an associate veterinarian in Arizona and Colorado before opening Pine Creek in 2008.

He and his wife, Dr. Cristy Fisher, share their home with four cats, Bagheera, Shir Khan, Tabuqui and Baloo, and a dog named Mougli. Dr. Fisher’s hobbies include weightlifting, archery and watching the Green Bay Packers.

General practitioner and co-owner Dr. Cristy Fisher opened Pine Creek Veterinary Hospital in Colorado Springs with her husband, Dr. Josh Fisher, in 2008.

Dr. Fisher grew up in Germany and Belgium and has cared for pets in Arizona and Colorado. She pursued her undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Texas and Colorado State University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology, with a minor in German, in 1996. She continued her education at the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.

Dr. Fisher’s professional interests include internal medicine and pet behavior. She is currently pursuing her board certification from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.

When she’s not busy with her duties at the animal hospital, Dr. Fisher enjoys beading, reading and watching movies. She and Dr. Fisher’s four-legged family members include four cats (Bagheera, Shir Khan, Tabuqui and Baloo), and a dog named Mougli.
