Registered Veterinary Technician, Surgery Coordinator
Hi, my name is Yana. I have worked at Pine Creek Veterinary Hospital for the past 8 years and have been a veterinary technician for over 27 years. I did my undergraduate degree at UC Davis and attended Cosumnes River College for my veterinary technician degree. I am a foster failure and end up taking in all the sick, neglected and unwanted animals that come across my path.
My weakness are the geriatric animals that need another home to live out their lives. I have enjoyed many different areas of veterinary medicine and worked for 15 years in a veterinary ophthalmology practice. Over my career, I have been able to work with many different species of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, raptors and zoo animals and marine mammals. I love the variety and challenges that come with the veterinary profession and being able to help improve the quality of life in all the animals that come across my path.
