Missed Appointment & Cancellation Policy

Our goal is to provide quality individualized medical care in a timely manner. No-shows, late shows and cancellations inconvenience those individuals who need access to veterinary care. We would like to remind you of our policy regarding missed or cancelled appointments.

Doctor Appointments

A missed or cancelled doctor’s appointment is when one of the following happen and will be recorded in your chart as a “no-show”

  • Fail to show up for an appointment.
  • Cancel an appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time.   
  • Arrive more than 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment time.  

1st time “no-show”:  There is NO charge to you, but you will be required to place a nonrefundable deposit equal to the cost of an office call to hold future doctor’s appointments.  

2nd time “no-show”: The aforementioned deposit will be forfeited and the client will be dismissed from the hospital.

**ALL NEW CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PAY DEPOSIT FOR FIRST APPOINTMENT**

Ultrasounds

All ultrasound patients will be required to place a $192.50 nonrefundable deposit to hold your ultrasound appointment. The deposit will be applied to the cost of the ultrasound.  The deposit will be forfeited if a client fails to keep the appointment or cancels within 24 hours.

Anesthetic Procedures

All anesthetic procedures require a $250 nonrefundable deposit to hold your pet’s appointment for surgery or COHAT (Complete Oral Health Assessment and Treatment) procedure.  The deposit will be applied to the cost of the procedure and must be paid 3 weeks prior to the procedure.  You will receive a payment link via email to pay securely online or you can pay in person or on the phone.  You WILL receive the deposit back if cancelled over 72 hours in advance.  

A missed or cancelled procedure is when one of the following happen and will be recorded in your chart as a “procedure no-show” and you forfeit the deposit.  

  • Fail to show up for the procedure.
  • Cancel the procedure within 72 hours of the procedure.   
  • Arrive more than 30 minutes late to drop off time.  

1st reschedule (over 72 hours): The deposit will carry over to the rescheduled time.   

2nd reschedule (over 72 hours): You forfeit the deposit and will be required to pay a secondary nonrefundable deposit for the 3rd reschedule. 

Specialist Consult & Surgeries

Consultation appointments with our mobile specialists require a $165 nonrefundable deposit

Surgical procedures with our mobile specialists require a $250 nonrefundable deposit.

A missed or cancelled specialist appointment is when one of the following happen and will be recorded in your chart as a “specialist no-show” and you forfeit the deposit.  

  • Fail to show up for an appointment.
  • Cancel an appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time.   
  • Arrive more than 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment or drop off time.
